Visit Quebec part I

Two weeks ago, I went to Quebec. I went one day but what a long day. It started at 5.00! The alarm has been difficult for a weekend as you can imagine, but knowing that I visit Quebec I'm still out of my bed. I took the subway to get to Berri-UQAM and I got only 5 minutes before departure of the bus which was scheduled at 6:00 am (got hot), plus it was almost complete. Traveling by bus is not so bad, there are even electrical outlets at each seat, very practical for long journeys. After 3 hours of travel and a few minutes of sleep I arrived in Quebec. The weather was beautiful, the temperature was too high, so it was the perfect time to visit the city. Upon arrival I was surprised by the architecture of the railway station, it changes radically from Montreal.
While I do not know which direction I walked, I saw the pillars of a motorway painted, details are impressive for a work to which few people are paying attention. In fact, Quebec is a city that wants to keep a beautiful appearance, all spaces are covered with green grass, saw the number of tourists the town attracts, it's best interest to heal its image.

Visit Quebec part II

Then I went to the citadel of Quebec. The visit is not free, but it's worth it. It is still a military base (Royal 22nd Regiment). When I made the visit with the guide in French was the only one, all others were the English tour. In addition, I do not expect much attention, but there was a bit forced. Finally, it was especially interesting and it helped me to learn more about Quebec City, the various battles, the victories of the battalion since World War I who made his reputation today.

Here are some pictures.
