Holidays in Crete

I just spent a wonderful week of July 20 to 27 in Crete with my cousins, my aunt, my mother, sister and girlfriend of one of my cousins. We stayed at Fodele Beach Hotel is truly great. Located by the sea it has a beautiful beach, an impressive number of pools and even a water park with slides dedicated customers, tennis courts, mini-golf. The all-inclusive we were able to enjoy throughout the day with cocktail bars and plenty of food, more at lunch we were treated to superb buffets. The only drawbacks were the lack of French in the hotel, there were many Italians, and the location of the hotel is not located in a city but in the middle of nowhere.
During the holidays we've enjoyed the beach and we went twice in Rethymnon by bus, first to visit the city and the second to make a pirate ship with which we traveled along the coast and we swam in the middle of Wed We also rented a car to get to Matala, which has a beautiful beach, we even jumped off a cliff thirty feet high, and we visited the archaeological site of Knossos and the monastery Moni Kaliviani . Finally, last Sunday we went by bus to Iraklion , unfortunately the museum that we wanted to visit was closed, so we knocked on the archaeological museum, but only a small part is open to the public because it is under renovation for three years. Bad luck for us, since most businesses were also closed on Sunday.
In summary we had a wonderful holiday in Crete, magnificent scenery, good weather in the appointment despite the forecast and it was a feast for the taste buds.
Finally here's the pictures:

Super place, I'd spend my vacation and rent a suite somewhere on the edge there.
