Then I went to the citadel of Quebec. The visit is not free, but it's worth it. It is still a military base (Royal 22nd Regiment). When I made the visit with the guide in French was the only one, all others were the English tour. In addition, I do not expect much attention, but there was a bit forced. Finally, it was especially interesting and it helped me to learn more about Quebec City, the various battles, the victories of the battalion since World War I who made his reputation today.
Here are some pictures.
Then I went for a walk near the Chateau Frontenac (the most photographed hotel in the world). There are magnificent views of Old Quebec and the St. Lawrence, there is also the cable car that can go up and down in Old Quebec (there are stairs that are just as fast) and the statue of Samuel de Champlain . Here are the pictures:
After I got off in Old Quebec. There are restaurants and shops and has a superb view of the castle atop the hill. On my way I met a crew who would shoot a scene in a Ferrari F430 and there was also a Maserati GT are waiting around. But this should be a soap opera or a TV special seen the type of camera they used (see camera).
Then I went up where there were concerts of singers from around the world, but of average quality. I still listened to by eating food that was sold on the spot. In the afternoon, I headed to another direction where he had flea market, there were lots of people, but not many sellers and not very interesting. Then I returned back.
I visited a church.
The evening arrived, I wanted to stay longer to see the spectacle of international singers on the main square. But after 30 minutes musicians Louisiana (USA) I seriously drunk, they were 4 with each instrument and played jazz, but so badly that it was unbearable. After that there was another group from another genre just as bad, so I left. Besides, people in the square were really not many and many were just passing through.
Finally, I got back, arrived at 0:30 with a superb view of Montreal at night from the deck in the car.
Finally, I would say that day to visit Quebec City is perhaps a little short, but I think I found it sufficient. There are many things to see, it's very interesting is a beautiful city, so if you go by Quebec it is important not to miss.
